A Senior Design Engineer is currently required for an Aircraft Fuel Systems manufacturer to meet customer requirements by using 2D / 3D CAD software.

Key Responsibilities:

- Produce design solutions for new products and product modifications, liaising with Drawing Office, and Performance & Stress engineers.
- Work concurrently with Manufacturing Engineers to ensure Design for Manufacture.
- Produce detail designed 3D solid models using Pro-Engineer software.
- Approval of detail manufacturing drawings.
- Carry out supporting stress, performance and tolerancing calculations relating to designs.
- Assist Operations in all aspects to support the manufactured or purchased product for both new and legacy products.
- Attend Design Assessments/Reviews and, if required MRB, CCB etc.
- Supervise subordinate staff.

Five years experience in a relevant design environment (ideally Aerospace - Pro-E Wildfire) would be ideal for this post.
