A World Leading Engineering Company in Warwickshire with a full order book are currently looking for a Tendering Manager.
The Role
Some responsibilities of the Tendering Manager would include:
- Preparation of technical proposals for extended scope retrofit projects consisting of upgrades to turbine cylinders and other turbine island auxiliary equipment, in a single fully integrated package to meet customer requirements
- Identification of customer requirements and determination of appropriate upgrade options.
- Organising and ensuring the successful execution of an integrated approach to development, costing and tender documentation of all components of extended retrofit scope projects involving, the coordination of competences internal and external to the business.
- Making technical bid / business development presentations to customers.
- Carrying out technical hand-over to Engineering following award of contracts.
- Contributing to the continual development and improvement of the partner network for IRP project tendering and order execution.
The Person
We are looking to hear from Tendering Managers, Proposals Managers or Bid Managers with the following skills and experience:
Educational Requirements
- Engineering Degree and/or a working knowledge of large steam turbine design/development,
- Very good understanding of integration aspects of key components around the steam turbines and
- Very good understanding of interfacing power plant components.
Knowledge / Experience
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience
- Knowledge of Power Plant Systems and Power Plant Market.
- 5 years experience in system design development or component integration.
- Significant technical Sales and tendering experience.

- Fluency (in writing and speaking) in English
