Shift Manager, Production Supervisor, Shift Team Leader, Shift Supervisor

We are looking to recruit a Shift Manager/Production Supervisor for an automotive 1st Tier Supplier based in the West Midlands area.

The Shift Manager should be able to demonstrate excellent man management skills which should include, mentoring, development and coaching along with a comprehensive understanding of disciplinary procedures.

You will be tasked with achieving optimum delivery, right first time, through effective management of KPIs.

Main duties and responsibilities will be:

* Planning and organising production KPIs, Cost, Quality & Delivery, Housekeeping and managing attendance/time keeping
* Drive and support continuous improvement philosophies in line with OEE targets
* Train, mentor and coach teams to ensure multi skilling within the business
* Allocate resource within the plant to ensure minimal down time

Applications are welcomed from candidates that have proven experience gained within an automotive 1st Tier arena, preferably assembly process.

You should hold suitable supervisory qualifications, NEBS together with HNC/HND level qualification.

Candidates should also possess excellent communication skills, influencing skills and negotiations skills. You should be able to work on your own initiative with the ability to motivate teams around you.
