Quality Engineer

Middlesbrough

£30,000 pa

Our client design, manufacture and supply a range of injection moulded components to the automotive industry. With a strong business forecast for 2012, they are seeking a Quality Engineer to work at their site in the North East.

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for:

- Co-ordinating internal and external quality functions as per the business requirements
- Working closely with key suppliers and customers in resolving quality 7367concerns
- Analysing customer concerns, preparing reports, and assuring implementation of corrective action plans
- Developing positive working relationships that result in process improvements
- Participating in 8D problem-solving activities
- Supporting New Product Introduction as necessary
- Maintaining ISO9000 and TS16949 quality standards

Person specification:

- Relevant engineering qualification
- Experience in a similar role within a
- Understanding and experience of using problem solving tools (8D, PPS, etc.)
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Good time management/organisational skills

The successful candidate will command a salary of circa £30,000pa. Training will also be considered for the right candidate.
