Project Engineer

Up to £35,000pa

Our client design, manufacture and supply a range of injection moulded components to the automotive industry. With a strong business forecast for 2012, they are seeking a Project Engineer to work at their site in the North East.

The Project Engineer will be responsible for:

- Customers support as first point of contact on all technical matters
- Supporting successful introduction of new products into production
- Co-ordinating systems and meetings in line with company and customer requirements
- Reporting on project technical issues and potential resolutions
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Ensuring projects meet the required quality standards
- Preparing project documentation to support customer meetings
- Ensuring new processes meet business and customer requirements

Person Specification:

- Relevant qualification in engineering
- Previous experience within a similar role within an automotive engineering 1st tier environment
- Strong customer focus
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Good time management/organisational skills

The successful candidate will command a salary of £30,000 to £35,000p.a. Dependant on Experience. Training will be considered for the right candidate
