Production Engineer, Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer

Due to continued success and planned growth through 2012 - 2013, our client, an Automotive Manufacturer is currently seeking to recruit Production Engineers/ Manufacturing Engineers to support New Product Introduction and Continuous Improvement.

The Production Engineer should be able to demonstrate extensive experience of Machine Specification, CAPEX Budgets, Plant Layout and Line Balancing using Lean Principles, Poke Yoke, KAIZEN etc..

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

* Planning work stations and processes to produce optimum layout and efficiency
* Establish, introduce, improve Takt Time and 100% delivery on time
* Ensure machinery availability whilst adapting machine capacity
* Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures and train where applicable
* Facilitate and drive continuous improvement activities in line with business targets and objectives e.g. KAIZEN workshops, manufacturing and RFT.

Applications are welcomed from Degree Qualified Engineers or HNC with relevant experience gained within the automotive industry.

You will have excellent communication and analytical skills, be methodical and able to work independently and work to tight deadlines and under pressure.

Candidates are required to have experience of working within a high volume automotive manufacturing environment
