Electrical Maintenance, Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician, S7 Programmer
A leading 1st Tier Automotive Supplier is currently seeking to strengthen their Maintenance department with the appointment of an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer.
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will ensure the availability of all production machinery and facilities through the efficient coordination of TMP/PPM systems thus maintaining consistent manufacturing.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* S7 programming - breakdowns, fault finding, modifying & improvements
* Provide support for and resolve breakdowns on production equipment and machinery
* Ensure that maintenance job tracking including Machine Downtime and Planned Preventative Maintenance documents are completed correctly * Ensure the availability of machine spares required for completion of maintenance tasks.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Candidates should possess the following: HNC level in Electrical / Electronics Recognised apprenticeship and qualifications Excellent knowledge of PLCs, preferably Siemens S7 with the ability to programme and modify S7 programmes where necessary, together with sound knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
Candidates should be analytical and logical when dealing with complex and technical machinery
You should have the ability to work within highly pressurised manufacturing arena and work on own initiative.
