Our client, a global manufacturer of a variety of components to the aerospace sector, has an exciting new opportunity for a Quality Engineer to be based at their site in Worcestershire.
The Quality Engineer's responsibilities will include:
• Defining, specifying, and implementing robust quality standards and procedures for manufacturing processes
• Offering technical support to various cross-functional teams and improvement projects
• Ensuring that products meet internal and external customer standards and specifications
• Developing and implementing corrective actions, and preparing responses as required
• Interaction with both internal and external customers and suppliers as and when required
• Formulation of quality assurance procedures, policies and standards
• Supervising quality technicians/inspectors as required
The successful candidate will display:
• Degree/HND/HNC/equivalent qualification in a relevant subject e.g. Production Engineering
• 3 years or more experience within a relevant manufacturing environment, such aerospace, defence or automotive
• Familiarity with quality tools such as SPC, APQP, AS9100 and ISO9001
• Experience of quality audits
• Strong inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
The Package:
The successful candidate will command a salary of up to £32,000p.a., with a clearly defined career path and opportunities for progression, within a dynamic aerospace engineering company.
