Individual Outsourcing Support

Our individual outplacement programme includes personal support from one of our team of professional consultants. Candidates benefit from face to face meetings backed up by telephone and email support. Our features of our individual outplacement programmes include:

1. Competency Based Interview

The individual would have a competency-based interview, which would enable the candidate to have constructive feedback of their strengths and weaknesses and prepare them for any forthcoming interviews. We find that long serving staff can be out of practice and this enables them to improve their interviewing skills in a relaxed and non-evasive environment. We can help them demonstrate their skills and sell themselves more effectively to prospective employers. This too also helps us understand their skill base as individuals and discuss any current vacancies we have that may be suitable.

2. CV Writing Effectively

We would review the employees CV and offer advice on how to convey the best message to potential readers and hone in on their skills and achievements across their CV. The format of a CV need to be easy to read and written in a clear and concise style outlining key facts and information.

3. Networking & Marketing CV

We discuss with individuals how to market their CV on Internet job boards, with agencies and making direct applications to clients. We can also give advice on how to find non-advertised position as well as advising how to write introduction letters to advertised vacancies.

4. Sourcing New Roles & How to Apply

Once the individual has found a job that they feel they would like to apply for we can advise them on how to maximise this how to tailor their CV for individual roles.

5. Reviewing Job Offers

Candidates need to establish their 'Most Important Things' (MIT) so they have a clear focus on what roles they want to partake, the sectors they wish to work, the salary expectations they have etc. This enables the candidate to remember what key factors the job has to offer so they don't rush into the first role they get offered and ensure the move will be right for them and their situation.

Our Website

Our website holds a wealth of information for candidate support and advice so post meeting they can refer back to the information discussed and learn how prepare for interviews, practice common questions and have a permanent tool to support them.

Case Study - Outsource

Our client is a global automotive supplier of interior systems and due to a down turn in production volumes they were recently forced to make some redundancies. The customer is based in the West Midlands and employs around 350 people. We were involved in supporting this client to give their staff the best possible opportunity in finding new employment and with our support 87% had found work within 3-months of our initial meeting.

We worked closely with HR and held individual meetings with those effected on site as this is an environment they were familiar with and made it easy for people to attend. From the people we interviewed they ranged from shop floor staff to senior members of management team.

We followed our Outsource schedule and the employees felt that their company was really supporting them and made a rather negative situation into a positive one.

The company were slightly apprehensive of receiving negative publicity regarding the redundancies so this project enables them to feel confident that they had supported their employees 100%.

Through end of programme questionnaires it was clear that the participants were highly appreciative of the guidance and support provided by the company, and the company protected their image within a realistic budget.
