Candidate Commitment Policy
As A Candidate You Commit To:
- When you send your CV and any other personal details to M-Tec, we take this as confirmation from you that they are accurate and are in no way misleading.
- Provide all relevant contact details including address, home and mobile telephone numbers where applicable, email address, location requirements, copy of passport and any other relevant information that may have an impact on M-Tec contacting you or finding you a suitable position.
- Inform M-Tec as soon as possible of any changes to your contact details, CV or job status (whether personal or professional) including new qualifications/skills/experiences/salary/location etc. which we need to know to ensure we consider you for all relevant positions that will meet your requirements and expectations.
- Let us know if there are, any companies that you do/do not wish M-Tec to consider your application for. (This information can be used to help the recruitment process but can also hinder it so is essential you keep us informed)
- As and when M-Tec contact you with details of potential job opportunities and/or interview arrangements please endeavour to respond in a timely and appropriate manner, advising at the earliest opportunity if an arranged appointment is inconvenient for you or if the position is/isn't of interest to you.
- Always present yourself when dealing with Clients of M-Tec professionally, honestly and courteously so as to promote the correct image, as you are an ambassador not only for yourself but also for M-Tec when you are with a Client.
- Let M-Tec know if you are no longer looking for a job. (this can be done by email or telephone so as to not waste anyone's time and to reduce the potential calls you may have)
- Keep M-Tec informed of any direct contact by a client so that we can be kept in the loop as we may have some vital input that may be needed at some stage during the recruitment process. (If we are not informed we cannot fully support you during the process)
- Not approach or try to directly source an opportunity with a client that M-Tec has introduced you to or are currently dealing with on your behalf.
- Complete an 'Update Information Form' once every 6 to 12 months which will be issued to you as a minimum to ensure M-Tec has the most recent details on you which will only help to improve M-Tec's ability to support you.
M-Tec Recruitment Commit To:
- Retain your information on our data base until such time as you request their removal in writing or alternatively M-Tec deem in accordance with the Data Protection Act, that sufficient time has elapsed for your job search to be completed. At this stage your details will be put into an inactive status until such time as you contact M-Tec to confirm you are again active within the market. (The only exception to this rule will be if you have requested regular market updates from our interactive service)
- Acknowledge receipt of your details or any updates that have been received by way of telephone call, letter or email.
- Keep you informed of any relevant opportunities that match your skills and experience which M-Tec deem suitable for you.
- Ensuring that regular communication and feedback is provided to you keep you informed of all activities, opportunities, developments and possibilities no matter how big or small. (We understand that there is nothing more frustrated than being kept in the dark or receiving little or no correspondence at all form your agent)
- Use your CV and any other personal information for the purpose of considering you for suitable opportunities. Your CV or any other information related to you will not be disclosed to a 3rd party unless we have discussed things with yourself and have gained your permission to either put your details forward or divulge specific information associated within yourself.
- Operate in a professional, ethical and honest manner when dealing with all activities that involve yourself personally and any information that is associated with you.
- Agree to provide relevant and constructive feedback when you have been submitted to a job opportunity or have attended an interview with one of our clients.
- Handle and process your information in a fair, lawful and professional manner in accordance with M-Tec's principle's of good practice.
- Listen to any suggestions that are made by our candidates to further improve the service that we provide and to achieve our corporate aim which is 'to meet all of our candidates expectations'.
- Following a successful placement with a client, contact you once a month for the first 3 months after your start date to ensure a successful integration into your new role.
